All Points of Views Equal?

When it comes to opinion I think we have to take into account many factors before accepting which opinion is valid and reasonable. First of all we have to realize that opinions are not facts no matter how much the individual backs up their point with research. I will have to say that not all points of views should be seen as equal, but I do agree that any point of view should have the right to be voiced. The fact of the matter is that I am not saying that all it takes is facts to win a debate, just ask most politicians. I say that all opinions are equal in the beginning when you present your view, but the tools you use to demonstrate why your view is correct is what determines which view has the bigger impact. There are Ethos, Pathos, and Logos and depending on how intelligent or persuasive you are you can lie throughout the entire speech and still win over your opponent or audience. The point I want to get across is that it is not just about what you know, but also on how to move an audience. If one decided to base their argument on just facts and facts they know that they are right, but it is up to them to convince others that too.
